The Duraduct-STM
fabrication workshops are extensive and very flexible in what
they can do. They provide important value to the full range of the Group’s
tube and piping systems with skill and equipment to tackle any fabrication
task associated
with building a fluid control or structural tubular systems.
Much of the innovative technology that has been put into developing our
modern
tube manufacturing mills including the latest laser mill, and the robotic
tube bending line have been largely designed and built by our workshops
and this in itself demonstrated the skills, capability and high level of
quality that can be achieved
by them. It is this high level of skilled workmanship that finishes up in
our tubular systems out in the field.
Whilst the more common fabrications we produce are standard fittings used
in tubular system such as tube bends, pipe elbows, tees, pipe & tube
spools, retainers and the like, the Duraduct-STM workshop has the
capability for producing special fittings to
a customer’s design drawing. Having the skills and equipment to weld and
fabricate
to a very high quality is one thing, but at Duraduct-STM we have taken it
one step further by using our tubular product application and fabrication
knowledge and skill to provide our customers a supply and installation
service as a part of our product offer.
Our fabrication capability in a major advantage not only to us but for our
customers and providing a turnkey supply and install package is very much
within our capability as the leading manufacturer of tubular systems in
Australia and New Zealand.
